Brynn's Mishap

Brynn has awesome hair. It's a combination of an upside down mullet and a Mohawk. Unfortunately everything good comes with a price. A few days ago Derek and I were sitting in the living room playing with the girls. We look over and Brynn is being dragged across the room BY THE HAIR. It took Brynn a few seconds to realize what was going on and then the uncontrollable screaming started. Miri got a major time out for that. When we asked Miri why she would do such a thing, she casually explained "I was taking baby Brynn for a ride."

Moving On

Just a little over a month ago we decided to take a look at a short sale. My brother lives in a beautiful neighborhood that he loves and he kept telling us to come take a look at this house that was a street above him, so we did. Within about 5 minutes of looking at it, Derek and I knew we would make an offer. It was perfect for us. We made an offer expecting the bank to take forever and for us to have to go back and forth. We were surprised when the bank accepted our offer a little over a week later. We expected something to go wrong, but it didn't. We closed two weeks later and now here we are in our new home. We've been here for a week. And what a week it's been. Moving + three babies sick with Roseola= mass chaos and a breakdown on Wednesday for the mommy.
Also, we have a special new little friend. On Friday night I went to my sisters house for awhile and came back late, around midnight. I turned on the light in the kitchen and screamed so loud I hurt my own ears. Derek had fallen asleep on the couch. I've never seen him move so fast. He jumped up like a sling shot. We spent the next 30 seconds trying to corner the mouse, and then the little Houdini disappeared. Wait, it gets way worse. Last night Derek had a headache in the middle of the night and went downstairs to get some Tylenol. He saw our little friend again and discovered an interesting fact about him. His food of choice; old breast milk. Derek saw him literally sucking from an almost empty bottle of milk that had been left out. Derek said it was "kind of cute." Oh really? Cute, huh? Ya, cute like a wolf spider eating its offspring. The little beasts hours are numbered. Monster Pest Control is coming tomorrow. DIE MOUSE.
