We should have taken the cold weather and rain as a sign that things may not go as planned. Miriam was under impressed with the Easter egg hunt. She got about 5 eggs in her basket and announced "I'm done. Lets do something else." Apparently, she doesn't buy into the whole "more is better" way of thinking.
We saw this guy:

He freaked Miriam out, which then required some consoling..JPG)
While I was saving our place in the 45 minute line so that Miriam could ride a pony for 30 seconds, Derek took Miriam over to the "petting zoo." They were feeding a donkey and too bad Derek didn't see this
Until this happened.
Miriam was able to overcome being bit on the hand by the Donkey in time to enjoy her pony ride.
The highlight of the day was when the "Balloon Man" made Miriam a pink balloon puppy.
Unfortunately it popped on the way home.

It sounds like it should have been a great day - sorry that things weren't so fun. Miriam you are so cute and grown up! I'm sure that Rease would have been just as scared of that bunny. We've decided against trips to Disneyland because of that very reason - she just isn't ready for the characters yet. Anyway, hope you guys are doing great!
